Bombardier hired as science instructor at CCCC
The Cloud County Community College board of trustees approved hiring Bryan Bombardier as an instructor of science on a full-time, KPERS covered, professional contract, effective for the fall 2019 semester, during a special meeting on Monday.
A graduate of Concordia High School, Bombardier is the owner of Panther Pride Pharmacy in Concordia.
Bombardier received his bachelor of arts degree in chemistry, with a minor in biochemistry, from Emporia State University and his pharmacy degree from Creighton University. He served in the U.S. Army.
The board also approved the hiring of Laura Phillips-Zee, Manhattan, as the youth services coordinator at the Geary County Campus. It is a full-time, KPERS covered, grant funded professional services contract effective August 14.
Phillips-Zee earned her bachelor of arts degree in linguistics and her master of arts in linguistics, ESL concentration, from Southern Illinois University. She worked as an English as a second language instructor in the English program at Kansas State University for more than 10 years.
