Christmas Tree Lane raises more than $13,000

More than $13,000 was raised for North Central Kansas CASA and 11 other non-profit organizations during Christmas Tree Lane Saturday night at the Cloud County Fairgrounds.
Artificial Christmas trees and wreaths decorated by the participating organizations were auctioned off during the event.
Dannie Kearn served as the auctioneer for the event.
The sale of the trees and wreaths brought in $10,050. Another $3,100 was raised through a silent auction, ticket, ticket sales, etc.
The participating organizations, and the amount paid for the trees and wreaths, include:
Cloud County Community College Foundation, $1,800; Cloud County Health Center Auxiliary, $600; Cloud County Resource Center, $425; Domestic Violence Association of NCK, $500; Helping Hands/Manna House, $1,100; National Orphan Train Complex, $1,200; NCK Down Syndrome, $875; NCK Paws, $425; OCCK, $325; Pawnee Mental Health, $475; Concordia Senior Center, $425; NCK CASA $1,900.
