Police Dept. Report
Theft—Robert McClean, Concordia, reported a theft from the 300 block of West 8th Street at approximately 3 p.m., March 5. McClean reported the theft occurred between 8:30 p.m. on the 4th and before 10 a.m. on the 5th.
Jon Mihm, Concordia, reported theft of items from the 500 block of East 16th Street at approximatley 8:50 p.m., March 5. Items were owned by Concordia Apartments and theft had occurred about two weeks ago.
Colby Shuler, Belleville, reported on March 6 that his cell phone was taken between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., this date, from the 900 block of Cedar. Investigation continues.
Beth Charbonneau, Concordia, reported damage and theft to C & C trucking on March 7 at 6:30 a.m. Damage and theft occurred after 10 p.m. on the 6th and before 6:30 a.m. on the 7th to the business in the 600 block of East 1st Street. Investigation continues.
Mike Driscoll, Glasco, reported March 7 at 10 a.m. the theft of items from the 1300 block of Lincoln St. Theft occurred after 9:30 p.m., on Saturday night, from a vehicle parked in Super 8 parking lot.
Arrests—Officers responded to the 500 block of East 16th at approximately 8 p.m., March 5, for a call of Domestic Battery. Upon investigation, officers arrested Paul W. Gerard II, 21, Milford, Kan., charging him with Domestic Battery. Officers were called back to this location at approximately 8:50 p.m. for a theft report from April Owen, Concordia. Investigation continues with charges pending.
While on a traffic stop Sunday, March 7, at approximately 10:10 p.m. in the 100 block of East 1st Street officers arrested Kirk Duane Bolte, 39, Concordia, on an Ottawa County warrant for failure to pay. Bolte also was charged with Driving While Suspended and Having a Defective Headlight.
Accident—Officers investigated a two vehicle accident at 1 p.m., March 6, in the 1900 block of Lincoln St. Vehicles driven by Leland Gray, Concordia, and Adolph Heltne, Scandia, collided at that intersection.

Lost and found—The Police Department has the following items in its lost and found department waiting to be identified and claimed: Miscellaneous photos, cards, etc., cell phone, keys on a key ring, keys on a lanyard, bicycles, wallet, two GM keys with remote, driver’s license, seat cushion, backpack, debit card.
Officers investigated a two vehicle accident at 7:30 p.m., March 7, in the 1900 block of Lincoln in the Short Stop parking lot. Vehicles driven by Devin George Baalman, Grinnell, and Lacey Marie Brownell, Concordia, collided at that location.
