Traffic stop results in arrest of Belleville woman

A traffic stop made by a Cloud County Sheriff's Office deputy on Thursday resulted in the arrest of a Belleville woman on drug charges.
According to a report from the Sheriff's Office, a deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at about 11:15 a.m. in the 500 section of U.S. Highway 81.
An investigation led to the deployment of the Sheriff Office's K-9 resulting in a positive alert on the vehicle.
Stacie McMahan, 32, Belleville was arrested on possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. McMahan was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
