Bryan Berner, Joanna McCollom, Lynnette Johnson, Rebecca Seward, Steven Lawton, Eric Christensen, John Rasure, Kimberly Johnson, Shelly Christensen, Nancy Olson, Janet Lawton, Melinda Roberts, Marsha Jo Bryant, and Kim Olson, piano students of Mrs. Wilbur Naylor, presented a recital... Mr. and Mrs. Vic Bulleigh were honored for their 25th wedding anniversary with a basket dinner... “Dirty Harry,” starring Clint Eastwood, was showing at the Grand Theater.

Courtney Lanoue, daughter of Don and Cheryl Lanoue, signed a letter of intent to dance for Cloud County Community College... wheat was selling at $6.17, corn was $6.14, and milo was $5.69 per bushel on local markets.
