Eighth grade boys fall to Marysville

MARYSVILLE — Playing on the road for the first time this season, the Concordia eighth grade boys' basketball team was beaten 37-19 by Marysville on Monday.
Concordia trailed 11-2 at the end of the first quarter.
Marysville outscored the Panthers 14-5 in the second period to take a 25-7 halftime lead.
Concordia was limited to five points in the third quarter, and Marysville scored seven to make it a 32-12 game.
The Panthers added seven points in the final stanza to five for Marysville.
Aceyn Cash and Billy Wahlmeier scored six points each for Concordia.
The Concordia B-team was beaten 33-16 by Marysville.
Marysville had a 17-6 advantage at halftime.
Concordia was outscored 16-10 in the second half.
Alan Garcia scored seven points for the Panthers.
