Eighth grade girls lose

The Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team suffered a 31-22 loss to Abilene in a home game on Tuesday.
Abilene had a slim 8-7 lead after one quarter of play.
Outscored 7-3 in the second period, Concordia trailed 15-10 at halftime.
The Panthers were limited to four points in the third quarter. Abilene scored seven points, and led 22-14.
Concordia tacked on eight points in the final stanza, to nine points for Abilene.
Madison Meyer scored 10 points for Concordia. Carlie Carlgren added seven points.
The Concordia B-team downed Abilene, 17-10.
Concordia had an 8-4 lead at halftime.
The Panthers added nine points in the second half to six for Abilene.
Zoe Britt scored six points for Concordia.
