Four T-Birds receive All-Region honors

The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference released the NJCAA All-Region VI Teams on Monday, with four Cloud County Community College men's soccer players receiving national honors.
Cloud County had two players tabbed First-Team All-Region in sophomore goalkeeper Charles Albuquerque and freshman forward Jean-Pierre Dasylva, while sophomore co-captains Wanes Hobat and Baptiste Bissessur earned Second-Team selections.
Dasylva led Cloud County (13-5-1 overall) with 10 goals and tied for the team lead in assists with seven, giving him 27 points for the season; the fourth best mark in the KJCCC.
Albuquerque was a two-time NJCAA Division I Goalkeeper of the week this past fall and finished his sophomore season with a 13-4-1 record in net with 0.90 goals against average, .852 save percentage and 92 saves on the season.
For his career, Albuquerque will graduate as one of the most accomplished goalkeepers in the program's history. He compiled a 25-6-1 overall record, 0.92 goals against average, .848 career saves percentage and 167 saves.
Hobat was another central figure in the T-Birds' defense as he anchored the back row while also tallying three assists, giving him five for his career at Cloud County.
As for Bissessur, he finished second on the team in scoring behind Dasylva with seven goals and three assists.
