Lions Club hosts annual football banquet

Awards were presented to the members of the Concordia High School football team during the 60th annual Lions Club Football Banquet Thursday night at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Parish Hall.
Senior quarterback Dyelan Reed received the Trevor Gennette Most Outstanding Offensive Player Award.
Reed completed 79 of 174 passes for 1,001 yards.
Paul Rundus, a center and defensive tackle, was presented the Keith Christensen Outstanding Senior Lineman Award.
Senior lineman Alex Bonebrake was named the recipient of the Panther Award.
Sophomore receiver/defensive back Wyatt Trost was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player.
The other awards presented included the “Big Eater” Award to junior lineman Nathan Lawrence and the Up-and-Coming Panther Award to freshman Dylan Sulanka.
Former Concordia coach Ron Culwell, who guided the Panthers to the 1999 Class 4A state championship, was the guest speaker at the banquet.
Culwell was the Panther head coach from 1995-2006.
