Panthers knock off Marysville, 42-21

MARYSVILLE — Jumping out to an 18-point halftime lead, the Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball team cruised to a 42-21 win over Marysville on Monday.
Concordia poured in 17 points in the first quarter, and limited Marysville to five points.
Giving up just four points in the second stanza, and scored 10, the Panthers pushed the lead to 27-9 at halftime.
Concordia outscored Marysville 7-5 in the third quarter to go up 34-14.
The Panthers added eight points in the final period, to seven for Marysville.
Payton Breese led the way for Concordia with 18 points.
Joey Henderson scored 10 points.
The Concordia B-team knocked off Marysville, 30-14.
Concordia had a 17-8 lead at halftime.
The Panthers scored 13 points in the second half, and gave up just six points.
Concordia had eight players score in the game led by Parker Teel with six points.
Bricen Benyshek and Caleb Hanson scored five points each.
