Panthers tumble, 28-22

MARYSVILLE — Outscored 15-7 in the second half, the Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team suffered a 28-22 loss to Marysville on Monday.
Concordia jumped out to a 10-5 lead in the first quarter.
Marysville scored eight points in the second stanza, to five for the Panthers, to close the gap to 15-13 at halftime.
Concordia was limited to two points in the third quarter, and Marysville scored eight go grab a 21-17 advantage.
Marysville tacked on seven points in the final period, to five for the Panthers.
Cianna DeLeon scored eight points for Concordia. Shaelin Giersch added six points.
The Concordia B-team slipped past Marysville, 25-23.
Concordia led 14-9 at halftime.
Marysville scored 14 points in the second half, to 11 for the Panthers, to close the gap to two points.
DeLeon led Concordia with 15 points.
