Seventh grade wins

Jumping out to a 14-point lead in the first quarter, the Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball team knocked off Marysville 42-31 in a home game on Monday.
Concordia shut out Marysville in the first quarter, and scored 14 points.
Marysville pumped in 18 points in the second period, to nine for the Panthers, and it was a 23-18 game at halftime.
Concordia outscored Marysville 9-7 in the third quarter to extend the lead to 32-25.
The Panthers added 10 points in the final stanza, and gave up just six points.
Peyton Retter led Concordia with 20 points. Luke Donovan added 13 points.
The Concordia B-team edged Marysville, 26-24.
The game was tied at 12-12 at halftime and 16-16 through three quarters.
Concordia scored 10 points in the final period, to eight for Marysville.
Donovan, Karson Lister, Kaide Gropp and Tracer Murdock scored four points each for the Panthers.
