Three Panthers named All-NCKL

Three members of the Concordia High School football team have been named All-North Central Kansas League.
Hunter Schroeder and Chas Carlgren were selected to the All-NCKL team on offense.
Carlgren and Kyle Palmquist were all-league selections on defense.
Concordia also had Keyan Miller, Dalton Owen and Shelby Giersch receive all-league honorable mention on offense.
Schroeder and Ivon Owen received honorable mention on defense.
The Panthers finished up 5-5 and advanced to the second round of the Class 3A playoffs before suffering a loss to Scott City.
Schroeder, a junior back/linebacker, led Concordia in rushing with 1,103 yards on 169 carries. He averaged 6.5 yards per carry and scored six touchdowns.
On defense, Schroeder had 68 tackles, 12.5 for loss.
Carlgren, a junior tight end/linebacker, had 11 catches for 258 yards with two touchdowns.
Defensively, Carlgren had a team high 115 tackles including 14.5 for loss.
Palmquist, a senior defensive lineman, had 22 tackles with five for loss.
Miller, a junior back, rushed for 712 yards on 11 carries with six touchdowns.
Dalton Owen and Giersch are sophomore linemen that helped the Panthers rack up over 3,000 yards of offense.
Ivon Owen, a senior defensive back, had 57 tackles.
