Kicking off the final homestand of the regular season with a pair of doubleheaders (and finishing the Rock Creek doubleheader), the number-eight-ranked Concordia High School baseball team moves to 18-4 on the year.

Versus Buhler in game one, the Panthers lost 10-5.

After a scoreless first inning, Concordia drew first blood in the bottom of the second inning, with Parker Jackson scoring by stealing home to give the Panthers the early lead. After a scoreless third inning, the Panthers struck again with a trio of runs; Jackson, Drake Blochlinger/Braytin Hake, and Koehn Williams all scored to give the Panthers a 4-0 lead after four innings.

Buhler finally got on the board in the top of the sixth inning, scoring five runs to take the lead 5-4. The Panthers tied the game in the bottom of the seventh with Rush LeDuc scoring on a loaded bases walk, but the Panthers couldn’t further capitalize. The Crusaders scored another five runs in the top of the ninth to take a 10-5 lead. Concordia would get a pair of runners in scoring position, but out three cut any comeback short as the Panthers dropped game one.

In game two, the Panthers won 9-2.

Buhler scored first in the top of the second inning, but Concordia took the momentum in the bottom of the third with a trio of runs by Brandon Vignery, Boone Richard and Ayden Krier, to give them a 3-1 lead. The Panthers scored a solo run in the bottom of the fourth with Hake (filling in for Maxson Frey) scoring on a Richard sacrifice fly, to make it a 4-1 Panther lead after four innings.

The Crusaders scored a solo run in the top of the fifth, which got erased by four Panther runs by Drake Blochlinger, Gehrig Bechard, Hake (courtesy runner for Frey) and Vignery, giving Concordia the 8-2 lead. Jackson scored on a Williams sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth, and three outs later the Panthers split the non-conference doubleheader.

Versus Marysville in game one, the Panthers won 2-0.

Concordia scored first in the bottom of the first inning, with Vignery and Richard crossing home on a single from Krier and a sac fly from Jackson, to score the only runs of the game. The Panthers only surrendered four hits in the entire game, with Parker starting on the mound and picking up seven strikeouts.

In game two, the Panthers won 11-1.

Concordia carried the momentum into game two, scoring four runs by Vignery, Richard, Krier and Jackson, putting the Panthers up 4-0.
