With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” Lee Eis. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 29, 2021, at his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, following a battle with congestive heart failure.
Chuck was born in San Diego, California, on February 24, 1944, to Harold and Bernice (Brooker) Eis. Chuck was employed in industrial maintenance. Chuck was united in marriage on April 1, 1969, to Kennda Cossell. Chuck enjoyed hunting, bike riding, and photography. His biggest role was that of a family man, father, and much-adored grandfather. He loved his family more than anything else in the world……except fudge. Chuck was best described as a teddy bear. He acted big, tough and scary, but he was actually sweet and loved with all of his heart. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor, mischievous grin and unfailing work ethic.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Randall Eis; daughter, Jerri Lou Eis; brothers-in-law, Richard L. Mead, Ronald L. Cossel and K. Wayne Cossel. He is survived by his wife, Kennda; sister, Karen Mead; children, Samantha (Henry) Williams, Scott (Linda) Eis, Charli (Robert) Stewart, Cindy Sue Eis, Jeff (Marion) Eis, Charles Lee (Teddi) Eis; along with 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Wally (Pat) Cossel, Terry (Karen) Cossel, Wolf Einhorn; sisters-in-law, Dee (Bill) Marshall, Kathy (Gary) Ashland; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to Samantha Williams for her loving care and devotion.
