Charolette K. Deneault, age 75, of Concordia, Kan., passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at her home in Concordia, Kan. She was born on June 29, 1949 in Red Cloud, NE to Kenneth J. and Mildred L. (Fielder) Smith.
She married Dale Deneault I, on November 12, 1966 in Concordia, Kan. He preceded her on April 3, 2013. She was a lifelong homemaker and always took care of her family, she also worked for USD 333 in the kitchen as well as helping as a para-educator and bus monitor. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia and a former VFW #588 Auxiliary member.
Charolette is survived by her daughters, Denell Wheeler (Brian), Salina, Kan. and Debbie Hoffer (Rod), Topeka, Kansas.; son, Dale Deneault II (Jacki), Concordia, Kan.; grandchildren, Braxtyn Wheeler (Anh), Brittany Wheeler, Dustin Hoffer (Megan) Darrick Hoffer (Dana), Rylee Hoffer, Dale Deneault III, Mason Venard & Jalen and Brecklynn Bonner; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Karen Dykes (Bob), Rhonda Bunch and Lisa Snavely (Mike), all of Concordia, Kan.; brother, Kevin Smith (Jacque), Concordia, Kan., Brad Smith (Rhonda), El Dorado, Kan., Kent Smith (Julie), Concordia, Kan., Terry Smith (Modene) and Todd Smith (Dana), both of Salina; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dale I, her parents, Kenneth and Mildred Smith, and a grandson Joey Wheeler.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2024 at Chaput-Bouy Funeral Home, Concordia Kan. with Fr. Joseph Kieffer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia, Kan. Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 1 to 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
