Christopher (Chris) R. Black, age 77, Concordia, KS resident, passed away Tuesday January 6, 2026, at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia, KS. He was born May 12, 1948, to Glenn C. and Pauline (Rodgers) Black in Concordia, KS.
He worked at the Concordia Blade Empire as a Photographer.
He is survived by his sister, Gloria B. Newingham, Manhattan, KS; nephew Mark Newingham, Overland Park, KS; and niece Michelle Berroth, Shawnee, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Pauline Black; and brother, Glenn (Ed) Black.
Visitation/Calling Hours will be Thursday January 15, 2026, from 1:00pm – 5:00pm at Nutter Mortuary.
