BLUE RAPIDS — Competing in a pair of meets, one sand and one grass green course, the Clifton-Clyde golf team had a pair of solid performances with much different circumstances.
At Waterville/Blue Rapids, hosted by Valley Heights, the Eagles were seventh in the nine-team meet. Onaga was first with a score of 330; the Eagles had a team score of 392.
Graham Valburg of Onaga was first with a score of 71.
Gage LeClair was the top Eagle, with a score of 90, good for 11th place.
Ayden Oestreich finished with a score of 94, good for 24th place.
Parker Knoettgen finished with a score of 101, good for 31st place.
Clay Joy finished with a score of 105, good for 39th place.
Ethan Sacco finished with a score of 106, good for 41st place.
At Mankato, the Eagles were fourth in the nine-team meet. Rock Hills was first with a team score of 312, tied with St. John’s; the Eagles had a team score of 330.
Bentley Melby of Pike Valley was first individually with a score of 71.
Parker Knoettgen was the top Eagle with a score of 76, good for sixth place.
Ethan Roeder finished with a score of 83, good for 18th place.
Ethan Sacco finished with a score of 85, good for 22nd place.
Clay Joy finished with a score of 87, good for 24th place.
Ayden Oestreich finished with a score of 90, good for 31st place.
Gage LeClair also finished with a score of 90, but was in 32nd place.
