CENTRALIA — Heading east for the second-to-last meet of the regular season, the Clifton-Clyde cross country team took home another top-five individual finish out in Centralia.
In the boys’ race, Cohen Girard was the fastest Eagle, finishing with a time of 17:18.6, good for second place. Remy Girard was 15th with a time of 19:23.4. Isaiah Jackson was 46th with a time of 21:41.1. Bradley Schwab was 62nd with a time of 23:09.9. Broden Kolman was 64th with a time of 23:13.2. Titus Cobb of Blue Valley was first with a time of 16:58.6, and Jefferson County North was first as a team with 43 points; the Eagles were sixth with 109 points.
In the girls’ race, Elsie Begnoche was the lone Eagle, finishing in 20th place with a time of 25:27.5. Tianna Reeves of Pike Valley was first with a time of 20:43.4, and Wabaunsee was first as a team with 36 points.
