Cloud County Sheriff’s Report

Tuesday, January 14

• At 7:16 a.m., deputy took a report of a non-injury accident located in the 1800 block of K-9 Highway.
• At 4:29 p.m., deputy pulled over a vehicle in the 500 block of Highway US-81 and after on scene investigation Joshua Franklin Jack of Concordia was arrested for an outstanding warrant and for possession of opiate opium narcotic or certain stimulant, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• At 4:35 p.m., deputy met with an Ottawa County Deputy and took custody of Shelly Marie Mceachin of Ada, Kansas for an outstanding Cloud County warrant.

Wednesday, January 15

• At 12:00 p.m., deputy took a child sex crimes case out of Aurora the case is still under investigation.

Thursday, January 16

• At 5:06 p.m., deputy was called to the Concordia Hospital for an Animal Bite case out of Glasco, KS. The animal in question is owned by the victim’s family and the bite was unintentional.

Friday, January 17

• At 4:50 a.m., deputy took an animal at large case, which is still under investigation.
• At 4:15 p.m., deputy pulled over a vehicle at Highway US-81 and Hawk Road. After on scene investigation Bobby Wayne Thompson of Dallas, Texas was arrested for an outstanding Texas warrant, distribution of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, January 18

• At 2:08 p.m., deputy took a report of littering/illegal dumping the case is still under investigation.
