Arrests
On March 17, at 5:41 a.m., a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the 1800 block of Lincoln Street in Concordia. After an on-scene investigation, Gerald Thompson, Concordia, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
On March 20, at 12:18 p.m., a deputy was called to find a vehicle on a driving complaint. The vehicle was found and pulled over at U.S Highway 81 and Republic Road. After an on-scene investigation, Richard Binger, Salina, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
On March 21, at 11:59 p.m., a deputy performed a traffic stop in Concordia at First and Kansas streets. After an on-scene investigation, Troy Michael Brown, Scandia, was arrested for possession of a certain stimulant and driving while suspended.
Domestic
On March 20, at 1:22 p.m., a deputy took a report of an ongoing domestic at the Concordia Police Department in conjunction with a police department officer. The case is still under investigation.
Harassment
On March 20, at 10:46 a.m., a deputy took a report of phone harassment to courthouse personnel. The case is still being investigated.
Non-injury accidents
On March 19, at 1:08 p.m., a deputy handled a non-injury accident case at mile post 257 on U.S. Highway 24. It was a semi that had rolled in the high winds and slick roads.
On March 19, at 2:18 p.m., a deputy took a report of a non-injury accident in Clyde on Washington Street.
