Colleen (Kelly) Hoesli, age 63, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Salina Regional Medical Center, Salina, Kansas. She was born on December 4, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas, to John and JoAnn (Girard) Kelly.
Colleen was a 1976 graduate of Derby High School.
On April 26, 1980, she married Robert Hoesli at the St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Clyde. To this union three children were born, Sheena, Sheryl, and Shane.
Colleen served as the clerk in the Concordia Post Office for 38 years.
She was a member of the St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde.
Her hobbies included playing pickleball, traveling, camping, watching her grandkids' sports, and most of all spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hoesli, Clyde, Kan.; two daughters, Sheena Thrasher (Kevin), Clyde, Kan., Sheryl (Bradyn) Breault, Silver Lake, Kan.; five grandchildren, Haley, Levi, Chase, Keygan, and Miley; six sisters, Kathy (Steve) Gonzalez, Wichita, Kan., Cindy (Dennis) Beiswanger, Derby, Kan., Charlene (Steve) Lacy, Derby, Kan., Janelle (Rick) McReynolds, Rose Hill, Kan., Sandra (LeRoy) Chaput, Park City, Kan., Barb (Randy) Taylor, Fall River, Kan.; a brother, Tim (Marcy) Kelly, Wichita, Kan.; five sisters-in-law, Janell (Dan) Sueltz, Centennial, Colo., Cindy (Gary) Wurtz, The Villages, Fla., Edye (Rick) Armstrong, Topeka, Kan., Mary (Greg) Gilstrap, Surprise, Ariz., Annette (Dan) Tucker, Bonner Springs, Kan.; a brother-in-law, Jerry Hoesli, Hutchinson, Kan.; several nieces and nephews.
Colleen was preceded in death by her son, Shane Hoesli, her parents, John and JoAnn.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 1-6 p.m. at the Chaput Mortuary in Clyde. Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, at the St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, Kansas, with Fr. Steven Heina officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clyde, Kansas.
