On Monday, Aug. 11, at 5:27 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of East First Street for a report of a battery. Upon investigation, Jason Carter of Concordia was arrested and booked into Cloud County Corrections. Carter was booked in for theft, battery and criminal damage to property.
On Thursday, Aug. 14, at 3:47 p.m., officers made contact with a male individual, identified as Ryan Harder of Concordia. Harder was known to have a warrant out of Mitchell County. Harder was transferred to the Mitchell County line, where he was later booked into Mitchell County Corrections on his Mitchell County warrant — original charge: possession of methamphetamine.
On Saturday, Aug. 17, at 8:36 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Lincoln Street. After investigation, the driver, identified as Mary Vasquez of Concordia, was transported and booked into Cloud County Corrections on her Saline County warrant — original charge: failure to appear.

On Monday, Aug. 11, at 10:22 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Broadway Street for a civil standby.
On Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 12:43 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of East 10th Street for a civil standby.
On Sunday, Aug. 17, at 4:05 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of East 18th Street for a report of a lost individual. Officers made contact with the individual and assisted them back to their house.
Burglary
On Friday, Aug. 15, at 10:10 p.m., officers responded to the 2000 section of North 145th Road for an alarm. When officers arrived, they made contact with an employee and verified that the building was secure.
Civil Dispute
On Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 3:25 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of East 10th Street for a report of a civil dispute.
Criminal Damage
On Monday, Aug. 11, at 9:56 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of College Drive for a report of criminal damage to property. No case was needed.
Custody Dispute
On Friday, Aug. 14, at 3:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to the police department for a custody dispute.
Harassment
On Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 2:31 p.m., officers took a report of harassment via telecommunication device.
On Thursday, Aug. 14, at 9:39 a.m., officers were dispatched to the police department for a report of harassment. An officer advised the individual of the Kansas statute and suggested they file for a protection-from-abuse order.

On Sunday, Aug. 17, at 11:04 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of East First Street for a report of a male with a gunshot wound. The investigation is ongoing; a press release has been made.

On Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 11:55 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Lincoln Street for a non-injury vehicle crash.

Traffic Stop and Citations
On Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 2:08 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of East Seventh Street. After investigation, the driver, Dustin Mendenhall, was cited and released for driving while suspended and no proof of insurance.
Welfare Check
On Saturday, Aug. 16, at 9:12 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of West Ninth Street for a welfare check.
