Concordia Police Department Report, Sept. 16-21

Investigations

  • On Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 11:53 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East 12th Street for a report of a theft. This incident is still under investigation.
  • On Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 2:32 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of West 13th Street for a report of criminal damage to property and trespassing. Upon investigation, eight juveniles were identified and trespassed from the property; the reporting party did not want to press charges. The juveniles were later released back into the custody of their parents.
  • On Thursday, Sept. 18, at 3:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West 10th Street for a report of criminal damage to property. Upon investigation, a juvenile was cited for criminal damage to property.
  • On Saturday, Sept. 20, at 9:10 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Washington Street for a report of trespassing. Upon further investigation, the individual was escorted off the property.
  • On Saturday, Sept. 20, at 7:47 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of East 15th Street for a report of a burglary. Upon investigation, it was determined that no one entered the property. No case needed.
  • On Sunday, Sept. 21, an officer spoke to an individual at the police department regarding a civil dispute.

Welfare Checks

  • On Thursday, Sept. 18, at 12:07 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Seventh Street for a welfare check.
  • On Friday, Sept. 19, at 9:58 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Lincoln Street for a welfare check. Officers made contact with the individual and realized they were having a medical emergency. The Concordia Fire Department was dispatched to the scene and later transported the patient to North Central Kansas Medical Center.
  • On Saturday, Sept. 20, at 8:44 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East 14th Street for a welfare check.

Vehicle Crashes

  • On Monday, Sept. 15, at 8:43 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East 18th Street for a non-injury vehicle crash.
  • On Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 4:21 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Third Street for a non-injury vehicle crash.
  • On Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 10:07 a.m., officers took a report of a single vehicle crash that occurred last week.
  • On Thursday, Sept. 18, at 7:59 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Cedar Street for a non-injury vehicle crash.
  • On Thursday, Sept. 18, at 6:51 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Lincoln Street for a non-injury vehicle crash.
  • On Friday, Sept. 19, at 7:21 a.m., officers assisted the Cloud County Sheriff’s Office on a rollover, injury vehicle crash at the intersection of Milo Road and U.S. Highway 81.
  • On Saturday, Sept. 20, at 5:27 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Republican Street for a report of an injury vehicle crash.
  • On Sunday, Sept. 21, at 7:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of 20th and Lincoln streets for a report of a non-injury vehicle crash.
