Concordia Police Department report, Sept. 29−Oct. 6

Battery

  • On Oct. 3, 2025, at 4:43 p.m., officers received a report of a battery that occurred in the 400th block of West 10th Street. This incident is still under investigation.
  • On Sept. 29, 2025, at 6:31 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 700th block of East Seventh Street for a report of a battery. Charges were filed for battery and have been forwarded to the Cloud County Attorney.

Blackmailing

  • On Sept. 29, 2025, at 10 a.m., officers received a report of blackmail. No additional information is available to the public at the moment.

Burglary

  • On Oct. 3, 2025, at 5:38 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400th block of East Eighth Street for a report of a burglary. This incident is still under investigation.

Criminal Threat

  • On Oct. 2, 2025, at 5:05 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 800th block of Russ Street for a report of a criminal threat. After the investigation, it was determined that no case was needed.

Civil Dispute

  • On Oct. 4, 2025, at 8:53 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2200th block of Campus Drive for a civil dispute. It was determined that no case was needed.
  • On Oct. 3, 2025, at 8:37 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400th block of West Seventh Street for a civil dispute. It was determined that no case was needed.

Domestic Battery

  • On Oct. 1, 2025, at 11:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400th block of West Seventh Street for a report of a domestic battery. When officers arrived, the suspect was not on scene. The charges, which were filed for domestic battery, have been forwarded to the Cloud County Attorney.

Harassment

  • On Oct. 4, 2025, at 11:56 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 300th block of East First Street for a report of harassment via telecommunication device. At this time, no charges will be filed.

Juveniles

  • On Oct. 3, 2025, at 4:56 p.m., officers received a report of a runaway juvenile. At this time, no additional information is available to the public.
  • On Oct. 2, 2025, at 6:24 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100th block of West College Drive for a report of a disorderly juvenile. The officers were able to calm down the juvenile. It was determined that no case was needed.
  • On Sept. 30, 2025, at 2:26 p.m., officers received a report of a missing juvenile. Upon investigation, the juvenile was located safely.

Missing Items

  • On Oct. 1, 2025, at 10:28 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1500th block of East Sixth Street for a report of a missing license plate

Noise Complaint

  • On Oct. 5, 2025, at 9:21 p.m., officers responded to the 1000th block of Cedar Street for a noise complaint.

Non-injury Car Crash

  • On Oct. 6, 2025, at 1:31 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of West College Drive for a report of a non-injury car crash that occurred on private property. There was no report made to the owner of the vehicle’s request.

Suspicious Activity

  • On Oct. 5, 2025, at 8:33 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 100th block of College Drive for suspicious activity. Upon investigation, the individual was escorted out of the building. It was determined that no case was needed.

Theft

  • On Oct. 1, 2025, at 1:54 p.m., officers received a report of theft from the 100th block of East College Drive.
  • On Sept. 30, 2025, at 1:55 p.m., officers received a report of a theft. Charges were filed for felony theft, and the charges have been forwarded to the Cloud County Attorney.
  • On Sept. 30, 2025, at 8:57 a.m., officers ticketed Douglas Dews and Sharon Sims, both of Concordia, for theft.

Verbal Argument

  • On Oct. 1, 2025, at 5:02 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 900th block of East Seventh Street for a report of a verbal argument. After the investigation, it was determined that no case was needed.

Verbal Altercation

  • On Sept. 29, 2025, at 2:06 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Seventh and Broadway streets for a report of a verbal altercation. Both parties were separated.

Welfare Check

  • On Oct. 4, 2025, at 12:28 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000th block of Broadway Street for a welfare check.
  • On Sept. 29, 2025, at 8:07 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1100th block of Village Street for a welfare check. Upon investigation, officers requested the Concordia Fire Department to the scene, where one individual was transported to North Central Kansas Medical Center.
