Concordia Police Report

Arrest—On May 8, at 8:50 p.m., officers located a male named Kyele Mendenhall of Concordia. Mendenhall was known to have an active warrant out of Cloud County.  Before being transported to Cloud County Corrections, officers found an illegal substance and drug paraphernalia on Mendenhall. Mendenhall was transported to Cloud County Corrections where he was booked in for his Cloud County warrant, original charge: failure to comply, possession of an illegal substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Custody dispute—On May 9, at 6:21 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Lincoln for a custody dispute.

Verbal argument—On May 9, at 7:32 a.m., officers noticed two individuals at the intersection of 13th and Kansas streets. The individuals were in a verbal argument. Both parties were separated. No charges will be filed.

On May 10, at 6:39 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Sixth Street for a report of a verbal argument. All parties were separated; no charges will be filed.

On May 11, at 2:38 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of East Sixth Street for a report of a verbal argument. No charges will be filed.

Noise complaint—On May 10, at 9:39 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 Blok of West Sixth Street for a report of a noise complaint.

Theft—On May 5, at 3:06 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of College Drive for a report of a theft. Upon investigation, surveillance footage showed that the suspect stole from the reporting party (citizen) and the business. Charges for both thefts have been forwarded to the Cloud County Attorney.

On May 7, at 9:55 a.m., officers were dispatched to the police department for a report of theft. No charges will be filed.

Missing person—On May 10, at 9:52 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West 18th Street for a report of a missing person. The individual was later located and everything was okay.

Property damage—On May 8, at 2:53 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Kansas Street for a report of criminal damage to property. Investigation continues.

Threat—On May 8, at 10:34 a.m., officers were dispatched to the police department for a report of a threat. This incident is still under investigation.

Criminal trespass—On May 6, at 9:35 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of East Sixth Street for a report of a criminal trespass.

On May 7, at 12:12 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of College Drive for a report of criminal trespass. The individual was advised to leave the property.

Welfare check—On May 6, at 11:12 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Seventh and Lincoln streets for a welfare check.

On May 10, at 12:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East Seventh Street for a welfare check.

On May 11, at 11:08 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Lincoln Street for a welfare check.

Non-injury accident—On May 5, at 10:53 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of East Seventh Street for a report of a non-injury accident.

On May 6, at 3:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of 10th and Cedar streets for a report of a non-injury accident.
