Concordia Police Report

Arrests

  • On June 12, 2:33 p.m., officers arrested Kyle Kadlecek, Concordia, on a Cloud County warrant for obstruction. Kadlecek was transported to Cloud County Corrections without incident.
  • On June 12, at 8:37 p.m., officers arrested Mark Moffit, Concordia, on a Cloud County warrant for failure to comply.
  • On June 14, 9:00 a.m., officers arrested Elizabeth Valerius, Concordia, on a Cloud County warrant for felony obstruction. Valerius was transported to Cloud County Corrections without incident.

Threats

  • On June 11, at 3:07 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of East 18th Street for a report of threats. Officers determined no case is needed at this time.
  • On June 12, at 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of West 15th Street for a report of criminal threats. Charges were sent to the Cloud County Attorney.

Warning

  • On June 10, at 2:48 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of West Sixth Street for a report of an intoxicated person in someone’s apartment. Officers located Roy Garcia, Concordia. Garcia was given a trespass warning and removed from the property.

Vicious Animal

  • On June 10, at 6:14 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of East Fifth Street for a report of a vicious animal.

Fraud & Theft

  • On June 10, at 10:51 a.m., Farm Country Ford reported a fraud. During the investigation, it was determined that the Bronco had been stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Fugitive

  • On June 9, at 1:51 p.m., officers assisted Kansas State Parole in locating a wanted fugitive in the 700 block of East Eighth Street. The individual in question was located and taken into custody by State Parole. Two other individuals located in the house were detained and charges of felony obstruction will be sent to the Cloud County Attorney’s office.

Disturbance

  • On June 11, at 4:37 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of East Seventh Street for a report of a possible domestic disturbance. Officers determined this was a neighbor dispute. No case was needed.

Suspicious vehicle

  • On June 11, at 10:31 p.m., officers located a suspicious vehicle in the 1500 block of Lincoln. Officers determined everything was okay

Theft

  • On June 9, at 2:42 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Russ Street for a report of theft. Investigation is ongoing.

Scam

  • On June 10, at 10:36 a.m., an individual came into the police department to speak with an officer about a scam. Officers are still looking into the matter.

Juveniles

  • On June 9, at 4:42 p.m., officers responded to 12th and Cedar for a report of juveniles possibly breaking glass in the alley. Officers located and spoke with the juveniles involved. No report needed.

Noise

  • On June 9, at 11:09 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of East Seventh Street for a report of a barking dog. Officers contacted the dog’s owner and the dog was brought back inside.

Civil Standby

  • On June 9, at 8:13 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of East 12th and conducted civil standby.

Civil Dispute

  • On June 13, at 2:31 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Elmhurst for a civil dispute. Officers determined no case was needed.
  • On June 15, at 8:14 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Olive for a civil dispute. No case needed.

Welfare Check

  • On June 10, at 2:04 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of East 17th Street for a welfare check. Everything was okay.
  • On June 15, at 5:31 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of West Seventh Street for a welfare check. Everything was found to be okay.

Non-injury Accidents

  • On June 10, at 12:34 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of East Fifth Street for a report of a non-injury accident.
  • On July 13, at 11:28 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of West 10th Street for a non-injury accident.
  • On June 14, at 3:14 p.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of Lincoln Street for a non-injury accident.
  • On June 15, at 11:34 a.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Lincoln for a non-injury accident.
