The Concordia Blade-Empire published incorrectly that the Cloud County Commission on Aging requested $1 million for its budget for 2026 during the Monday, June 23, meeting. It was instead one mill levy to fully fund its programs. According to Cloud County Clerk Shella Thoman, the 2025 Cloud County budget consisted of $19,538,421 and the Commission on Aging share of that was $132,747.
