CVA Courtland Hub nears full operation ahead of July Open House

Posted

Central Valley Ag’s (CVA) Courtland Hub is quickly approaching full operation, with major milestones now complete and preparations underway for a community celebration in July.

As of late May, both the office and agronomy plant are finished, and all staff have moved in. Agronomy operations are in full swing, with fertilizer and crop protection products actively being supplied to area producers, CVA applicators, and CVA Transport.

Progress at the grain site is also advancing. Electrical wiring is currently being installed at the tops of the bins and legs, while the grain receiving building is slated for construction within the next two weeks. Equipment testing is expected to begin around June 15, with grain intake operations beginning by June 25. The facility anticipates loading four corn unit trains in July.

Earlier this spring, CVA unloaded a 110-car UAN fertilizer unit train on March 29 and 20 cars of 10-34-0 fertilizer on March 20. Truckload fertilizer shipments began on March 22.

To celebrate these exciting developments, CVA will host a Courtland Hub Open House on Monday, July 28. Producers and community members are invited to explore the new space, meet the CVA team, and see firsthand how CVA is investing in the future of agriculture. Guests will enjoy trolley tours of the facility, lunch and refreshments, and giveaways, all while learning about the advanced technology and services designed to move producers forward.
