Debra Jeanne Brown, 62, died March 4, 2020, in Concordia, Kansas.
Debra “Deb” was born on July 1, 1957, in Clay Center, Kansas, to Dales and Doris (Sheely) Carnahan. She was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS.
Debra owned and operated Deena's Cafe in Clyde for 18 years and owned A1 Bail Bonds.
She loved country music, especially George Strait. She spent her free time playing cards at the Senior Center, going to the casino, cheering on her Kansas City Chiefs and going out to eat with family and friends. Debra loved spending time with her grandchildren and was looking forward to seeing her grandson, Trentin, walk across the stage and receive his diploma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Patricia Carnahan-Osbourn.
Survivors include her daughters, Darcy Brown and Deena Hine, both of Concordia; and grandchildren, Tanner, Trentin, Dylan, Denver and Daleigh.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 9, 2020, at 11:30 a.m. at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, Kansas. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kan. Visitation will be Monday, March 9, from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Deb Brown memorial fund c/o the funeral home.
