Dorothy June Revell, age 92, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at her home in Concordia, KS, surrounded by family. Dorothy was born on August 26, 1932, to Dora Mae (Walden) and John Eastman Graham in Concordia, KS.
Dorothy married Orville Ernest Revell in 1949 where the union brought 7 kids. Dorothy worked most of her life as a Certified Nurses Aide. She retired after 29 years at the Nazareth Motherhouse. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family. Dorothy was a member of the American Legion Post #76 Women Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orville; sons, Dale and John Revell; daughter, Donna Revell; sons-in-law, Richard Nobert and Dick Ramsey; great-granddaughter Anna Mae Bross; and all 5 siblings.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Linda (Richard) Coons, Rita Revell (Barry Baxa), Regina Nobert, Mary Ramsey; daughter-in-law, Linda Revell; niece, Eilene (Duck) Henderson; grandchildren, Buster Revell (Cheyenne Nelson), Tammy Coons, Bryon (Abby) Revell, Kenny Marsh, Jeremy Coons (Mary), Ashley Herman, Casey (April) Coons, Katie (Grey) Lehman, Julie (Jeff) Cady, Hilary (Jeremy) Bledsoe, Derrick Revell, Christopher Matlock, James Matlock, Crystal White (Skyler Bross), Hannah Revell (Cogan Bennett), Thaddeus Revell, Nicole Mendenhall; 41 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren with one more on the way, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Nutter Mortuary, Concordia, KS.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Pastor Earl Hale officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Meadowlark Hospice.
