Edward H. Kegle, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde, Kansas. He was born on Aug. 23, 1937, in St. Joseph, Kan., to Aldemar L. & Marcelline (Ouellette) Kegle.
He attended Dist. 29 grade school.
On August 23, 1958, he married Emma Derousseau at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph, Kansas. He was a lifetime carpenter.
Edward was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, both of Clyde.
Survivors include his six children, Louis Kegle, Clyde, Kan., David Kegle, Modesto, Calif., Anne Kegle, Hayward, Calif.; Robert Kegle (Debbie), Oakley, Calif.; Eddie Kegle, Minneapolis, Minn., Edith Kegle, Ormond Beach, Fla.; brother, Bill Kegle, San Bernadino, Calif.; sister-in-law, Elaine Begnoche (Dean), Clyde, Kan.; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma; his parents; brothers, Isadore & Duane & a sister, Carolyn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Chaput Mortuary in Clyde.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clyde, with Fr. Steven Heina officiating.
