Harold Clinton Crane

Harold Clinton Crane left this Earth on May 25, 2025, at the age of 62 in Clyde, Kansas.  Harold was born May 18, 1963, to Rosemary V. McMullen and Herbert A. Crane. 

After graduating Quincy High School in Quincy, Illinois, he worked as an Adam’s County Sheriff Department. 

Harold later came to Concordia, Kansas, to a community that welcomed him in as one of their own.  Over the years he held many positions in the community including the Donut shop, Masonry, truck driving, Campus Security and his longtime profession as DJ with C&R Sound. Over the years he loved to be included in a variety of community functions including teen dances, weddings and reunions, he prided himself in remembering people’s favorite song and playing it as soon as he saw you come in the door.  Above all Harold’s favorite job was to be a father and Grandfather.  

Harold was united in marriage to Rayetta Boyce on September 25, 1999.

Harold was preceded in death by his mom Rosemary and his brother Carl McMullen.

Harold is survived by his sons, Dustin of Cuba, KS and James Crane of Concordia, KS; his brother Brad Crane (Joann) of Marthasville, MO; 5 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and more friends than one could count that had become family over the years.

Memorial Services will be Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Nutter Mortuary with Pastor Al Peredes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Clay County Animal Rescue & Education Center, Clay Center, KS.
