Jane Ann Lervold, age 63, entered into rest on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia, Kansas. She was born February 3, 1958, to Robert “Buck” & Veeda “Joan” LaBarge, Concordia, Kansas.
She graduated from Concordia High School in 1976. She became a single parent until she met & married Gary Lervold. They later divorced. She graduated from CCCC in 1998 with an associates of arts degree, with a major in criminal science. She retired from the U.S. Army National Guard as a Specialist 4 and had received the Global War on Terrorism campaign medal while on active duty in Fort Riley, Kansas.
Jane retired from the Casey’s General Store in Concordia. She had earlier worked for the Cloud County Sheriff's Office as a corrections officer for several years.
She loved spending time with family and friends and watching murder mysteries on Hallmark channel with her three cats.
Jane is survived by her children, Anna LaBarge (Charles), Concordia, Kan., Erica Lervold, Scandia, Kan., Sara Lervold, Concordia, Kan., Seth Lervold (Jennifer), Wichita, Kan.; her brothers, Mark LaBarge (Dani), DeSoto, Kan., Paul LaBarge (Sheila), Derby, Kan., John LaBarge (Cindy) Manhattan, Kan., Gary LaBarge (Alice Nondorf), Manhattan, Kan.; two grandchildren, Kayla Sayler (Tanner), Colorado Springs, Colo., Ethan Valcoure (Arianna Gross), Concordia, Kan.; one great-grandson, Jaxon Valcoure, Concordia, Kan.; several nieces and nephews.
Jane’s wishes were to be cremated and a Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas, with Fr. David Metz officiating.
