Joe T. McGeoch, age 91, passed away on Wed., September 8, 2021, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. He was born on Nov. 24, 1929, in Aurora, Kan., to Oscar B. & Helen S. (Eaves).
Joe grew up in Cloud County and was a lifetime area resident, farmer and cattleman. He began working on the farm at age nine because his father had typhoid fever when he was younger. He served on the Aurora Co-op elevator board of directors for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, Concordia; several nieces; nephews; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carl (Della) McGeoch & sister, Irene Roark.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia. Burial will follow at the Courtland Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Kidney Foundation in care of the funeral home.
