Katherine (Lowell) Langton passed away peacefully at her home in Manhattan, Kansas, on August 23, 2020. She was born on April 20, 1928, to Loyd and Thora (Grinstaff), on their farm near Talmo, Kan. She married Al Langton on June 6, 1948, in Concordia. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Bill Lowell and Darrel Lowell, and sister, Joanna Proffitt. She is survived by her children, Marcy Wood of Manhattan, Gregg (Robbie) of Manhattan, Christina (Joseph) Kaiser of Collinsville, Ill., Scott (Jan) of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., and Terry (Michelle) of Shawnee, and sister, Janet (Ronnie) Dorman of Concordia. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grand children. A graveside service will be held for the family at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, at the Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan.
