Lois M. Duewell, age 88, entered into rest on Monday, November 22, 2021, at the Mount Joseph Senior Village. She was born January 14, 1933, in rural Rice, Kansas, to Ezra and Louise (Nanninga) Trost.
Lois was a 1951 graduate of Concordia High School.
She married Dolan R. Duewell on February 5, 1956, at the Huscher United Methodist Church, Huscher, Kansas. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2019.
Lois worked for Cloud County Courthouse as the Deputy of Register of Deeds and the Register of Deeds.
She was a member of the Huscher United Methodist Church.
Lois enjoyed gardening.
Lois is also survived by her daughter, Lori Duewell, Garland, Texas.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Louise, husband, Dolan Duewell, a son, David Duewell, four brothers, Merton, Harold, Robert and Carl Trost.
Visitation will be held at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2021.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2021, at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Winter officiating. Burial will follow in the Nelson Center Cemetery, Huscher, Kansas.
