Michael (Zeke) Chartier, 55 years of age, of rural Concordia, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at NCK Medical Center in Concordia, Kansas.
He was born on September 30, 1969, in Concordia, Kansas, to Rex and Jo Ann (Baggett) Chartier.
Zeke was a graduate of Clifton-Clyde High School in the Class of 1988.
Zeke was the owner/operator of MacFab in Rural Concordia, Kansas.
His hobbies were ranger rides, shooting the breeze with all the neighbors, and last but not least, he loved a good high-card game.
Zeke is survived by his brother, Steven Chartier (Brenda), 2 sisters, Connie Cash, sister, Jennifer Williams, 3 nephews, Nicholas Chartier (Kristy), Josh Chartier and Coady Chartier, great-nephew, Tanner Meade and great-niece, Tessa Chartier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Ann Chartier.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 1 to 8 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. that evening, all at the Chaput Mortuary, Clyde, Kansas.
Family has asked if everyone could wear their favorite MacFab attire or just dress casual in memory of Zeke for his service and Let’s Have One More.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Clyde, Kansas, with Celebrant Samantha Stensaas officiating.
Following the graveside service there will be a gathering of family and friends at the V.F.W. to continue celebrating Zeke’s life.
