HESSTON — Heading south to Hesston for the Buhler invitational, the Concordia girls’ golf team saw a record broken and yet another individual title claimed last Friday.
Mya Niehues won the individual title with the lowest 18-hole score of her career with a 66. This score also officially breaks Cassie Lowell’s record of 70 that Niehues tied on Sept. 9 at the Salina Central Invite.
Maddie Bowers was 40th with a score of 92.
Preslee Marsh was 54th with a score of 100.
Elora Henderson was 67th with a score of 106.
Abby Herman was 69th with a score of 107.
Letting some of the JV members get some varsity experience on a shortened nine-hole Marysville Invitational, the Panthers competed at the eight-team meet on Sept. 25.
Keylee Gennette was the top Panther with a 38th-place finish with a score of 73.
Marlie Johnson was 41st with a score of 76.
Zaely Garst was 42nd with a score of 76.
Rylee Wogomon was 44th with a score of 81.
Lindsey Berk was 45th with a score of 82.
