The second game started better for Concordia, with Morgan Lister opening the game with a leadoff single and Stuber getting on base with a fielder’s choice, but two straight outs cut the momentum short. Concordia picked up another hit on a Kyndra Brandt single, but she was out on a putout, with two outs following to end the top of the third.

Concordia had a good showing in the bottom of the third, with back-to-back flyouts to start the inning, with Wamego’s only baserunner due to errors. After another quick top of the fourth inning, Wamego scored eight runs to end the second game by run rule and sweep the Panthers.
