Hosting six other teams for the lone home invite for the varsity squad, the Concordia High School girl’s tennis team finished sixth and earned a trio of wins in front of the home crowd.
In number one singles, Harley Weathersbee went 2-2 and finished in fifth place. Starting the day with a 6-4 win over Zelma Krone of Beloit, Weathersbee dropped two matches before closing the day with a 6-5(2) win over Krone.
In number two singles, Raylea Studt in her first varsity meet, went 0-3.
In number one doubles, the team of Jori Letourneau and Kinzee Motes went 1-3 and finished in fifth place. After two straight losses to start the day, the duo closed the day with a 6-0 win over Emersyn Fuller and Barklee McMillian of Beloit.
In number two doubles, the team of Bailey Coner and Jazlyn Hendershot went 0-3.
