Panther track competes at Lions Club, Abilene track meets

ABILENE — Competing at the ever-exciting 13-team Abilene Invite with teams from across the state of Kansas, the Concordia High School track team finished in sixth place on the boys’ and girls’ side.

In the boys’ 100m, Javen Garcia was seventh with a time of 11.43, Matthew Naillieux was 16th with a time of 12 seconds, and Ryker Wildeman was 22nd with a time of 12.22. Ashton Malm of McPherson was first with a time of 10.97.

In the girls’ 100m, Lillian Nuss was second with a time of 12.9, Madalyn Bowers was 11th with a time of 13.58, and Brexlynn Koch was 14th with a time of 13.69. Reagan Wirtz of Ellinwood was first with a time of 12.9.

In the boys’ 200m, Javen Garcia was sixth with a time of 23.18, Derrick Jumper was 19th with a time of 24.47, and Ryker Wildeman was 22nd with a time of 25.1. Lucas Borges of Wamego was first with a time of 22.787.

In the girls’ 200m, Lillian Nuss was fourth with a time of 26.94, Brexlynn Koch was 13th with a time of 28.4, and Oakleigh Teel was 22nd with a time of 29.77. Wirtz (EW) was first with a time of 25.84.

In the boys’ 300m hurdles, Stanley Dervil was eighth with a time of 45.75, and Ian Sayers of Chapman was first with a time of 41.91.

In the girls’ 300m hurdles, Charlize Cash was 14th with a time of 57.21, and Reese Wassenberg of Marysville was first with a time of 48.29.

In the boys’ 400m, William Metcalf was 23rd with a time of 1:00.84, Jett Flax was 24th with a time of 1:00.99, and Zack Stovall was 27th with a time of 1:02.25. Dominic Falco of Wamego was first with a time of 50.65.

In the boys’ 800m, Brody Marsh was 16th with a time of 2:13.42, and Alex Gallardo was 28th with a time of 2:28.92. Jacob Bircher of Southeast of Saline was first with a time of 1:54.8.

In the girls’ 800m, Hannah Bridwell was fifth with a time of 2:26.7, and Rylie Jessup was sixth with a time of 2:27.7. Shayne Pittenger-Reed of Wamego was first with a time of 2:21.85.

In the boys’ 1600m, Daniel Reedy was 26th with a time of 5:46.22, and Colton Gallardo was 17th with a time of 14:05.5. Brayden Walker of SES was first with a time of 4:12.07.

In the boys’ 3200m, Carson Gallardo was 16th with a time of 13:20.88, and Colton Gallardo was 17th with a time of 14:05.5. Peyton Parker of Wamego was first with a time of 9:42.53.

In the boys’ discus, Brody Knox was 17th with a throw of 101’5”, Caden Stein was 24th with a throw of 96’4”, and Nolan Cristensen was 31st with a throw of 76’5”. Caden Wanderott of McPherson was first with a throw of 161’7”.

In the girls’ discus, Marlie Metzler was 15th with a throw of 86’4”, and Jori Letourneau was 16th with a throw of 82’5”. Shae Urban of Clay Center was first with a throw of 113’6”.

In the boys’ javelin, Jett Flax was 11th with a throw of 133’5”, and Caden Stein was 22nd with a throw of 109’9”. Jarrin Brumfield of Clay Center was first with a throw of 163’3”.

In the girls’ javelin, Rubi Trost was 20th with a throw of 84’5”, and Alexis Luecke was 26th with a throw of 70’10”. Halie Koppes of Clay Center was first with a throw of 130’7”.

In the boys’ shot put, Brody Knox was 23rd with a throw of 36’4.5”, Caden Stein was 27th with a throw of 35’2.5”, and Nolan Christensen was 31st with a throw of 31’7”. Mason Isch of Wamego was first with a throw of 53’1.5”.

In the girls’ shot put, Gabi Lange was fourth with a throw of 34’4”, Marlie Metzler was 17th with a throw of 26’7”, and Jori Letourneau was 19th with a throw of 26’6”. Brynn Littlejohn of McPherson was first with a throw of 35’4”.

In the boys’ long jump, Javen Garcia was third with a jump of 21’0.25”, Matthew Naillieux was seventh with a jump of 19’3.5”, and Zack Stovall was 12th with a jump of 17’7.5”. Griffin Cumpton of Royal Valley was first with a jump of 21’5.5”.

In the girls’ long jump, Avery Kueker was fourth with a jump of 16’8.75”, Marlee VanMeter was sixth with a jump of 16’0.25”, and Charlize Cash was seventh with a jump of 15’8”. Wirtz (EW) was first with a jump of 19’3.75”, good for number 63 in the country (per athletic.net).

In the boys’ triple jump, Reese Franklin was second with a jump of 42’11.75”, Derrick Jumper was fifth with a jump of 38’2”, and William Metcalf was 13th with a jump of 33’11.5”. Bowen Bryan of Royal Valley was first with a jump of 43’2”.

In the girls’ triple jump, Charlize Cash was fourth with a jump of 33’6.75”, Avery Kueker was fifth with a jump of 33’5”, and Rubi Trost was seventh with a jump of 32’3.5”. Tatum Johnson of Clay Center was first with a jump of 34’5.75”.

In the girls’ pole vault, Gabi Lange was second with a height of 9”6”, and Lauryn Caviness of Royal Valley was first with a height of 10’.

In the boys’ 4x100m relay, the team of Ryker Wildeman, Matthew Naillieux, Kyler Sheets, and Javen Garcia was sixth with a time of 45.06. McPherson was first with a time of 42.86.

In the girls’ 4x100m relay, the team of Madalyn Bowers, Lillian Nuss, Marlee VanMeter, and Avery Kueker was second with a time of 50.81. Marysville was first with a time of 50.4.

In the boys’ 4x400m relay, the team of Kyler Sheets, Reese Franklin, Derrick Jumper, and Matthew Naillieux was 10th with a time of 3:46.2. Wamego was first with a time of 3:26.63.

In the girls’ 4x400m relay, the team of Marlee VanMeter, Hannah Bridwell,
Rylie Jessup, and Lillan Nuss was fifth with a time of 4:15.31. Marysville was first with a time of 4:06.95.

In the boys’ 4x800m relay, the team of Gunner Barnes, Alex Gallardo, Daniel Reedy, and Brody Marsh was sixth with a time of 9:45.49. SES was first with a time of 8:14.65.

In the boys’ 100m, Javen Garcia was fourth with a time of 11.87.

In the girls’ 100m, Lillian Nuss was sixth with a time of 13.51.

In the girls’ 200m, Lillian Nuss was fifth with a time of 29.14.

In the boys’ 400m, Zack Stovall was eighth with a time of 1:00.8.

In the boys’ 800m, Brodie Marsh was 10th with a time of 2:26.54, Gunnar
Barnes was 14th with a time of 2:35.71, and Alex Gallardo was 15th with a time of 2:35.89.

In the girls’ 800m, Hannah Bridwell was first with a time of 2:29.08, and Rylie Jessup was sixth with a time of 2:38.11.

In the boys’ discus, Brody Knox was 10th with a throw of 113’, Caden Stein was 11th with a throw of 110’11”, and Nolan Christensen was 17th with a throw of 97’10”.

In the boys’ high jump, Stanley Dervil was third with a height of 5’10”, and Zack Stovall was ninth with a height of 5’2”.

In the boys’ Javelin, Jett Flax was ninth with a throw

In the boys’ 4x400m relay, the team of Matthew Naillieux, Reese Franklin, Derrick Jumper, and Kyler Sheets was fourth with a time of 3:44.75.

In the girls’ 4x400m relay, the team of Marlee VanMeter, Hannah Bridwell, Rylie Jessup, and Lillian Nuss was second with a time of 4:22.24.

In the boys’ 4x800m relay, the team of Gunner Barnes, Alex Gallardo, Daniel Reedy, and Brody Marsh was fourth with a time of 9:35.18.
