Panthers, Eagles run at Riley County Invitational

LEONARDVILLE — Running at the nicknamed “Frozen Falcon Relays”, formally known as the Riley County Invitational, the cold morning warmed up and turned into a good day for the Concordia and Clifton-Clyde High School cross country teams.

CONCORDIA

In the boys’ race, Daniel Reedy was the fastest Panther with a time of 19:47.35, good for 45th place. Brody Marsh was 47th with a time of 19:52.72. Tucker Davis was 61st with a time of 20:29.49. Carson Gallardo was 69th with a time of 20:57.23, with Eli Denham right behind him with 70th place with a time of 20:58.10. Colton Gallardo was 106th with a time of 23:26.67.

In the girls’ race, Sophia Fall finished in 46th place with a time of 24:45.11.

CLIFTON-CLYDE

In the boys’ race, Cohen Girard was the top Eagle, finishing in fourth place with a time of 17:15.78. Remy Girard was 66th with a time of 20:45.20. Isiah Jackson was 76th with a time of 21:19.22. Broden Kolman was 100th with a time of 23:09.04. Logan Payeur was 130th with a time of 26:55.15. Trace Harvey was 133rd with a time of 27:29.99.

In the girls’ race, Lillie Crose, as the lone Eagle, finished in 70th place with a time of 28:13.65.

The Concordia boys team finished in 10th place, with the Clifton-Clyde boys finishing in 11th place.

Bryce Roberts of Sante Fe Trail was first in the boys’ race with a time of 16:49.31. Sante Fe Trail won as a team with 86 points and four top 20 finishers.

Kylie Pfizenmaier of Clay Center was first place in the girls’ race with a time of 20:06.12. Eudora won as a team with 43 points and five top 15
