Robert (Bob) Royal Cook, 91, Manhattan, died Oct. 3, 2020. He was born Dec. 29, 1928, to Albert & Lula Inscho Cook.
Bob joined Army Air Corps, 1947; retired Chief Master Sergeant, 1974. He married Giovanna Pironti April 1, 1955.
Grandson of a Civil War veteran, he served his nation in its rise into a global power then lived long enough to witness its retreat from leadership.
