Robert C. Goodwin, 87, was born March 4, 1937, in Fairfield, AL, to William Clyde and Edna (Hamic) Goodwin. He passed away on February 13, 2025.
He joined the Navy in 1956, serving as an Air Medic. He was in insurance and finance; most recently he worked for Mel Hambleton Ford and Intrust Bank.
He loved to fly and play golf. He married Mary Ann Baxa in October of 1972. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; children, Robert V., Phyllis and David Goodwin; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary (Zane) Nolen; sisters-in-law, Lorene (Bob) Steimel, Dorothy (Charlie) Oborny; and brother-in-law, Fr. Henry Baxa.
Rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., both on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help, 307 E. 5th St., Concordia, KS. Graveside will follow after lunch at St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery, 603 Linden St., Cuba, KS.
A memorial has been established with St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery, c/o St. Edward Catholic Church, 1827 Q Street, Belleville, KS 66935.
