Sandra “Sandy” Schwab, 66, of Clifton, Kansas, died Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka. She was born on June 11, 1956, in Snyder, Texas, the daughter of William and Eva (Sallman) Schwab.
Sandy grew up in Morganville, Kansas, and graduated from CCCHS in 1974. She received her LPN at Beloit, Kansas, and then graduated from Washburn University with her bachelor’s of science in nursing. Sandy worked at Stormont-Vail, as a home health nurse in the Wamego area, Community Care, Inc. in Clifton and retired from Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde in 2022. She was a member of the Faith United Church Presbyterian and the Clifton American Legion Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by father and brother, Jason Schwab.
She is survived by her mother, Eva Schwab of Clifton, Kansas; sister, Penny McDonald of Mansfield, Texas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Faith United Church Presbyterian.
Memorials may be made to the Park Villa Nursing Home or Faith United Church Presbyterian and can be sent c/o funeral home.
