Thomas Rodney "Rod" Yonally, age 70, of Miltonvale, KS, passed away on November 10, 2024, at the Minneapolis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Rod was born January 26, 1954, to Roy and Bessie (Nemnich) Yonally, who preceded him in death. A lifelong farmer and rancher, Rod was known for his unwavering work ethic, his deep love for animals, and the joy he found in his family, especially his grandchildren. Rod was a lifelong resident of Miltonvale, KS. He graduated from Miltonvale Rural High School in 1972. Rod was united in marriage with Rosemary (Brumbaugh) Yonally on June 16, 1972. Rod’s greatest joy of all was his family and friends. He adored his grandchildren, Luke and Maya, and cherished every moment spent with them. Rod had a special bond with his cousins and spoke fondly of the moments spent with them through the years. His niece and nephews and their children were also very dear to him. Rod is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary Yonally, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in love, hard work, and devotion. He is also survived by his children, Brian Yonally of Miltonvale, and Amy Wilson (Dustin) of Larned and grandchildren Luke and Maya Wilson. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor Rod’s memory. Memorials can be made to Miltonvale Rural Fire Department or Miltonvale EMS.
